latin sounds beautiful but ive heard that its hard to learn

really i mean it!!, i mean i just felt so dumb comparing how well i can talk spanish to how well u can ahah! i mean sure, it is my native language, but still, other than a goood pronunctiation(sp? can't remember how it was written lol), i barely know anything about it, i mean there's just so many gramatical rules that they make my head spin...haha ok i felt so stupid writing that ^^ i don't think anyone else is bad at their own language.... but me

in reality my dear friend... spanish is more proper than english like i guess callate is be quiet/shut up in spanish BUT when we say shut up i guess it can sound a little bit ruder...

but thank you! i take that as a compliment... and trust me- you still know more spanish than i do and can automatically pronounce the words very well! i cant even roll my freakin R's lol

^^well i can understand what u're talking about, but if u see it from my pov u'd think it's the same cause when we say "¡callate!" its as rude as if we say "shut up!" altho i do think swear words sound way more dramatic and bad in spanish than they do in english... u know were i live we use a different dialect, so it's kinda weird cause when movies are translated into spanish "we" (ppl from my state) think it sounds horrible, cause we hear someone saying "genial!" or "fantastico!" and we are just like "ugh, it sounds horrible, i'm so glad we don't talk like that!" cause really we don't use those words unless we're making a weird voice making fun of something, so yeah 90% of the ppl in my state would rather see movies in english, i mean they just sound way better in our opinion.... i can't help wondring if i talk like a geek in english... lol

aww you i bet you dont sound like a geek! one of my best freinds is hispanic and she doesnt sound like a geek when she talks in spanish so i bet you dont either!

yeah i know, cause when we here those types of things cause usually most movies sound really bad in spanish in our opinion, we're like "who are they kidding, no one talks like that, not even old ppl" so yeah it's weird... aww thanx but i can't help asking myself.... lol

lol yeah, the only movie we'd rather see in spanish is shrek, cause it's waaayy more funny in spanish and the characters do talk like normal ppl not like in other movies....

wow thats awesome... and then i also watched the old rudolph the red nosed reindeer (my techers choice) in spanish only the songs were in english so it was messed up...lol
